The equally iconic old-school rival to Les Deux Magots is the Café de Flore. Another haunt for these legendary artists of Paris that has recently seen more and more tourists flock to their tables. An excellent café for people-watching and deemed by some Parisian regulars (so you know it must be legit) as serving the best hot chocolate in Paris, the Café de Flore cannot be missed.

Founded in 1686, Le Procope is one of the oldest cafés in Paris. Over the last few (hundred) years they’ve been frequented by some famous faces, you may even have rubbed shoulders with Benjamin Franklin and Napoleon in this very spot. Le Procope is the perfect place to soak in the history as you rest your feet from exploring.
