When traveling, your usual acts of self care can become less of a priority. But we’re here to show you that adding some healthy habits back into your vacation routine can be easy and actionable. Explore our tips below to help look after your body and mind while on the go this year.

Find a travel-friendly skincare routine

Before you jet off, find a travel-friendly, skin care routine that actually works for you. Taking those moments at the end of a busy day to look after your skin can be really grounding and a great way to unwind.

Feel the burn

Moving your body is a great way to show yourself some love. And when you’re traveling there are so many different options to try. Start the day off with some gentle stretches in your room, or if you’re near the beach - go for a swim, or why not find a hike to get some amazing photos. You can even do a weighted workout with your suitcase or backpack. The important thing is to listen to what your body needs each day and get out and try new things!

Let your tastebuds lead the way

Local food is one of the best reasons to travel! So get out to local markets and grab some delicious and healthy food that will feed your body and make you feel good.

It’s simple: don’t check your work emails on your days off. As soon as you hit that ‘out of office’ button you are now on your own time. Switch off from the work worries and really soak in that much needed unwind-time.

Relax anywhere you can

If you have access to wifi, you can turn any room into your relaxation room. Try some gentle yoga or meditation to give yourself some room to breathe after the stress of traveling.
