UGC Competition Terms and Conditions

By entering this comp, the entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  1. Eligibility
    • The competition is open to UK and US residents aged 18 and above.
    • Employees of Coolside Limited T/A Trtl and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
    • Participants must have a valid social media account, like the competition post and tag a friend in the comments section.
  2. Competition Period
    • The competition will run from 10:00 23 September 2024 until 23:59 6 October 2024.
    • Entries submitted after the closing date will not be considered.
  3. Entry Requirements
    • To enter, participants must submit their photos with Trtl products via our website at trtltravel.com/pages/competition.
    • The trtl product must be visible and in focus.
    • Each participant is allowed to submit multiple, different photos. There is no limit to the amount of photos they can submit.
    • Participants must complete the provided entry form.
    • Entries must be the original work of the participant and must not infringe on any other person’s copyright or other intellectual property rights.
    • Content that is offensive, inappropriate, or violates platform guidelines will be disqualified.
  4. Prizes
    • There is a 1st place prize of $1000 or equivalent in local currency.
    • The cash prize will be paid via bank transfer. A winner will need to provide their account name and account cumber or IBAN and sort code/SWIFT code/BIC.
    • There are 4 runner up prizes of our Deep Sleep Bundles which contain a Trtl Pillow Cool, Mini Wrap, Glimpse Sleep Mask, 2 pairs of socks, and a  flask. Competition runner ups will need to provide a shipping address for the bundle.
    • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.
  5. Winner Selection
    • The winner(s) will be selected by a panel of 3 judges.
    • The decision of Trtl is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
    • Winner(s) will be notified via email within 5 working days of the competition closing.
    • If a winner does not respond within five (5) working days, Trtl reserves the right to choose an alternate winner.
  6. Use of Entries
    • By submitting an entry, participants grant Trtl a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license without compensation to use, edit, modify, and display the content across Trtl’s website, social media channels and on promotional materials.
    • For the avoidance of doubt, you will remain the owner of your content.
    • Participants agree that Trtl may use their username, real name image and likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
  7. Data Protection
    • Any personal information collected in connection with the competition will be used in accordance with Trtl’s Privacy Policy which is available at https://uk.trtltravel.com/pages/privacy-policy. We will only process any personal data for carrying out marketing, promotional and advertising activities.
    • You may withdraw your explicit consent given to us to use your content at any time by reaching out to Trtl through the contact form on https://trtltravel.com/pages/contact-us and requesting that your content is removed from our sites. We will endeavour to remove your content from our sites without unreasonable delay should you inform us to do so.
  8. Liability
    • Trtl accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, or injury suffered by participants as a result of entering the competition or accepting the prize.
    • Trtl reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
  9. Governing Law
    • The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of Scotland.
